Pulled a vacuum, added 2 cans of r134 (total 1.5lbs) and it works pretty good. The pressure in the system is dependent on temperature, as you can see in the chart posted above by ZUL8TR. So placing an external fan on the condenser is going to add airflow and lower temp/pressure. And the temp of the ambient airflow matters too.
