Remove both lock bolts on the u-joint completely. Loosen the steering rack mount clamps and rotate the input shaft downward to slip the u-joint off. You might have to tap the u-joint off the steering shaft. Reverse process and it's back together. I don't tighten the u-joint until the I've tightened the steering rack to make sure things aren't loaded.
