See previous two posts before from my plenum pull on a 1990 NA. I ended up replacing the entire FICD, IACV, and AAC with a used one. The old one was not working, so I hoped that it would finally solve my hesitation and bad idle issues. I replaced the connectors as well. I could hear the replacement AAC working when I started the engine, but the car would start to lose RPMs in idle, and then eventually stall. This time I unplugged the oval connector is for the throttle position sensor, and the car then idled fine without stalling. I ran through the TPS calibration with a multimeter via the write-up on Z32 Wiki. Everything is within spec and the TPS is in the correct position. The only reading that is slightly off is when I take an ohm reading on the Pin C (black wire) to pin E (red wire) should be about 9,000 ohms, but my reading is 8,900 ohms. I also measured the voltage of the TPS. The voltage should be between 0.4v and 0.5v, which it was. As you open the throttle, it should go up to between 4V and 5V, but mine only went up to 3.8. Would those two reading be something that would make the car stall?
