Message Often larger wheels are heavier, but that's somewhat offset by having less rubber. Not completely. Heavier wheels and weight further out from the axle takes more torque to spin.

Primarily though, it's the diameter of the tire that affects the effective gearing. As long as the tire you are running has the same diameter, it'll be the same "gearing"
