Message There are a lot of newer tires that are WAY grippier and still last decently. The current king is the Bridgestone RE71R. The difference between the current batch of competitive 200TW tires and the rest of the world is MASSIVE. It's really insane the levels of grip that are available out of a tire that still lasts well.

Suspension settings come after you choose a tire. You can start with 2-3° of camber and start driving. Every tire has its preferred camber to achieve maximum grip. If you're serious about track driving competitively, a data acquisition box would be worth picking up. That would allow you to install IR tire temp sensors and from there you can tune your camber by looking at the temperature across the tire. It'd also help you tune your tire widths to the loads they're seeing.

Tuning a car is a long, iterative process. Drive the car, have fun, and get better.
