Message These days the engine controls are so integrated with the whole car that it's difficult to swap in a motor. Most people swapping hellcat motors are forced to use the transmission that comes with it and often have to have a lot of other components hidden around the car.
The guy that makes the Bauer Catfish is working on an LFX kit for it and people always ask him why not ecoboost. It's because it's not an easy motor to separate from the rest of the car.
