| Now be sure to mount the resistors securely, and to something that is not plastic. Though these will be used intermittently, so I don't think they'll get too hot. I had a customer bring in his 335i because his windshield washer reservoir suddenly drained a gallon of washer fluid on the floor of his garage. His car had been (cheaply) upgraded to LED fog light bulbs and the resistors they had just zip tied to the plastics behind the bumper. There was a clear track of where the resistor had melted itself a path diagonally through the splash shield and into the washer reservoir. Poor thing was just trying to find itself a better cooling environment.
