G.R.C – Gauge Replacement Console – Short Run

I am officially releasing the Digital Gauge Replacement set for sale. It has gone through over a year in combined testing between real world and bench testing. For the people inquiring over the past months, I apologize for it taking so long since the product preview. It has gone through many changes with the various test units that have been installed.

You may remember it from the post previously made here:

Unfortunately this is not like tossing in the best and greatest VG into your Z since the same thing pretty much fits every year. With the factory Instrument Cluster, Nissan decided to play a lot with different designs and companies throughout the years, so even though you see one design, there are at least 2 different companies with different designs on instrument clusters for the Z32.

There are four different packages available dependent on the type of application you need.

The main types are Type A and Type B. You can determine which type you have by comparing the types on my website with your cluster. After that, all you’ll need to decide is if you’d like to replace both the factory Boost pressure gauge and factory Oil Pressure gauge, or just one if you’d like.

The prices are currently as follows:

  • Type A – 1 Screen = $348.24

  • Type A – 2 Screens = $390.28

  • Type B – 1 Screen = $355.77

  • Type B – 2 Screens = $400.26

I am releasing them at these prices as an introductory offer. After a few units are sold, all prices may increase by up to $100. Delivery of these units will begin in 2 to 3 weeks, therefore the latest the units will begin to ship is January 1st, 2012.

Installation of the unit can be done by the instructions provided in the package, or for a small additional charge of $50, you can send in your cluster and it will be returned with the updated components.

I have requested help from Gary a.k.a DVDBURN, to offer a combined service with both installation and integration with his product Nissan Data Voice http://www.nissandatavoice.com/. With Gary’s extensive knowledge in electronics and the Z32 cluster, he can offer many additional things such as LED installation, gauge calibration, and much more. Since Gary is located in the United States and I am in Canada, my hope is that Gary can be in charge of all US installations in order to cut down on shipping and customs charges.

What you’ll need to do before purchase:

  • Take a look at your cluster to determine which type you have.

  • Order the applicable G.R.C

  • Mail in your cluster to be retrofitted with the G.R.C or install your
G.R.C when received in the mail

Special thanks to tokyoZ32 for providing a set of empty clusters to help with development.
