Message the sprocket, then turned it with the belt. My dad and I did the timing belt change, he is the one that actually turned it. If I remember correctly, I believe he may have made 2 full rotations, because on the first one he went a little past the point and the sprocket jerked forward again. I wasn't too sure about that, but he has worked on a lot of cars and has done countless engine swaps, rebuilds, auto-->manual conversions, but all on his MKII and MKIII Supra's, and he said he was able to turn the cams by hand easily and never had a problem. He has never worked on a Z though until now, and apparently we f'd it all up... :(

So how do I go about seeing if this is actually the case? Take it all apart, and just inspect the valves?

Well there goes my summer vacation in Miami. I have a 3 week internship, then I was going to enjoy the rest of the summer in my apartment in Miami. Now I have to fly down and then back up here to NC to continue working on my car. Damn it.
