Message and a construction worker, although they both 'build' structures.

Both Russell's and the Peacemaker's heads used dual-coil springs, which have the highest spring tension of any spring you can get for the VG heads (to my knowledge). If what your machinist is saying is true, all of the other VG cylinder heads on the face of the planet should be suffering from this problem.

Additionally, consider that valve I posted pictures of. The valvesprings were not the component changed to remedy the problem - it was the material the valve is made from that they changed and it fixed the problem.

I'm not trying to argue with you or the machinist here, just clarifying for you that his reasoning for what happened to the Peacemaker and these soft valves that Nissan made is incorrect.
