Message They should not have done anything they did not explain to you. Pressure washing an engine bay is never advised and it’s certainly not part of the 120k service. However, I see this as the pressure washing just highlighted issues that were coming down the line anyway, just on an accelerated schedule.

What should you do next? You should learn to work on this car yourself and take advantage of the resources on this site. You should go through all your engine bay connectors and unplug them, blow out with compressed air, clean any visible corrosion, and apply dielectric grease. Do it one at a time. If you have connectors that have become brittle, buy new ones and a cheap soldering iron, and replace them. They will fail individually at random times creating a persistent pain in the ass problem.

As far as your AC. My guess is the pressure washing force water into some small cracks in the AC clutch and it’s now shorted out. You can unplug the harness and measure with a multimeter. I think it should be around 10 ohms. But if it’s shorted it’ll measure less than 1. This requires a compressor replacement. Contact Bernie for a new one.

For the AC leak, probably worn out orings in the piping. Buy the AC oring kit and replace them. It can be a pain due to time and effort, but it will give you long term piece of mind.

Also clean your chassis grounds. See service manual for details.
