I shorted my dome lamp socket by popping the bulb out with a screwdriver and touched the metal contact clips that hold the bulb with the metal housing. The 10A fuse blew along with radio functions/antenna/clock and I'm sure the interior lights etc. When I replaced the fuse, everything worked again except when I pull on handle while the door is locked, the interior dome light and key hole is supposed to illuminate to see in the dark while door is still locked, however the dome and keyhole only come on when door is unlocked and door is open. In short, it works but not the illumination feature when locked. It worked before the short. Edit: I forgot to mention, when I close the door, the interior dome light is supposed to dim or fade off. It just goes on and off with door open then closed. I suspect the timer control unit, but the harness gives proper 12V with my multimeter, according to FSM. FSM says that if there's voltage, check the harness connection and circuit current between the door switch, door signal, interior lamp all with the TCU. This is the part I'm stuck on since it requires tearing apart the panels and following lines. I also suspect diodes along the lines if I go this route, or possibly the lamp room relay? If you fixed this issue I'm wondering what you did.
