As Denis and others have said ACL is preferred when they are available. I have used King with no issues, but since Mahle moved Clevite production to the US from Japan, their VG main bearings have fitment issues on the thrust bearing. Not recommended.
There is no point in getting the +.001 HX extra clearance bearings for the VG, if your crank is good and just needs a polish, the standard race series bearings will put you right where you need to be for clearance. Usually .0019 to .0022”
