Message	you should be okay. There needs to be some play or you will damage the throwout bearing and possibly the clutch diaphragm from overheating. If it's too tight, the clutch won't fully release and will wear prematurely. You or your mechanic can use Greg Dupree's clutch adjustment post as a guide. La-Z-Link
