My last statement about safety mode may not entirely be correct. How much pressure are you getting, about 5-7 PSI, or none? Do you have a good hose connection to the Boost Sensor (see diagram)? Have you measured the pressure with a standalone pressure gauge? If not, a good way would be to use the Boost Sensor port on the balance tube to plug a long vac hose into and route it over the cowling into the car thru the window. But be safe!! They sell pressure gauges that have a hold function, or a passenger could read it for.
