You might try asking a reputable offroad shop. A differential is pretty much a differential. Especially in an older vehicle. Find a place that rebuilds transfer cases. Ask if they have any experience with differentials. I've installed lockers and regeared my jeep. There's a lot to consider to properly put it back together. Anyone can install the gears, but setting them up is another story. There are youtube videos that are really helpful. They show how to set backlash, and get the correct paint pattern on the gears. If my gears go belly up, I won't hesitate to rebuild. It would be much easier dropping the chunk and working on it on a table.
