I have no idea how I broke the CAS shaft when I reinstalled it, or I maybe I cracked it when I removed it. Car ran fine for a few miles, then laid down. No power. The "new" CAS and the housing it came with fits like butter. My original was like a press fit. I used a hammer and brass rod to twist it back and forth wile using a couple of screw drives to pry it out. Bad idea. Guys, if your CAS doesn't slip out by hand, pull the housing and press it out from behind. Then lap the housing with some fine sandpaper such that the CAS slides into the housing. Hind site is 20/20, right?
