This is the kind of info I was hoping for. It took me a minute to wrap my head around it. The "combiner" sees the air flow voltage from each MAF, references the table to determine the air flow corresponding to that voltage, combines the AIR FLOW and then gets the new voltage output for total air flow. So would it make sense then to program a "combiner" with the air flow chart from the TT ECM? I was curious how their device worked since they don't mention calibrating it to one of their MAF- which they have in various sizes. Perhaps something like this but designed for a hot wire MAF would be ideal, since it seems to offer the ability to update the tables for both MAF sensors and the calculated output voltage.
