You could buy VP C16 or another race fuel, but it seems E85 works as well or better than these fuels, at a much lower cost. The important thing is not the energy per volume of the fuel, but the energy per volume of air. Ethanol requires more fuel for the same amount of oxygen. This is a good thing since the more fuel, the better the cooling effects of vaporization. There are a number of people who run higher boost. With ethanol over 70 percent, I turn my boost controller off. Problem is, my car is too stock to hit your numbers. You should switch to ethanol and see how much boost you can get.
