The Z developed a small leak recently after the transmission was replaced. At first I thought it was from the hydraulic steering circuit where the HICAS send and return is (figure 1) but now I suspect it is from somewhere else. There are a set of three metal pipes located directly above the steering lines that appear “wet” and may either be the source or a route by which a leak higher up is originating from (figure 2). Does anyone know what purpose these lines serve?
