Subject	HELP: Top End Noise Getting Louder

Message	On start-up, on idle warm-up, on slow cruising I still hear the tapping/ticking of top-end noise. Also getting more blue smoke than normal. Using non-synthetic Pennzoil 10w30, changing oil and filter at 3000. Considering Sea Foam, Marvel Mystery Oil Enhancer, Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer, various zinc enhanced oils, Ouija Board, whatever. Trying to avoid a full-scale "diagnostic" incursion into the engine. Thanks in advance, all input welcomed.
