Just want to say thanks all for your input, very helpful! So not sure why but it turns out that I have intake style screws/bolts in my exhaust valve covers and corresponding crush washers were on them. When I did the top engine rebuild I just replicated this with the silicone crush washers. The screw/bolt is the one with the short shank. Also I installed the BDE aluminum half moon plugs. I still cant locate the exact position of the oil leak but it is definitely around that area. There is a small and a larger tap hole in the block right below the half moon, any idea what those are? Also is it possible for a VTC solenoid to leak oil?
