In regards the windshield washer light, make sure the fluid level is filled at least the dipstick is wet. A month ago I thought the sensor was bad and it was not, problem was that the water level was "low" as the sensor sits high. This misunderstood is normally taking place when eye inspection of some water level makes us think that should turn off the dash light when it does not.
