Haven't looked into that closely. But, I'm willing to destroy the glass trying as long as I preserve the frame. It's really no good like it is. I can take the frame to a glass cutter and get a replacement made. All a mirror is, is a piece of glass with a silvering backing. Anyway, I can hook my finger nail on the glass, so I know it's just glued in. As stated in the OP, I think a heat gun may make the glue let loose. Careful not to overheat and crack. I'm going to use a stiff plastic auto trim tool as to not chip the glass. Same as I did replacing the T-top moldings.
