I'm pulling an NA motor from my car so I can do a TT swap and restoration/other mods. The motor has 150K, never been rebuilt, ran OK when I parked it for other reasons, and still had decent compression. It's a VERY early production example, built in Feb 1989. Are there any parts from this motor that I should hold onto before I get rid of what's left? I will likely keep the lifters and some of the bolt on things like VTC solenoids, IACV, etc if they are still in OK shape. But what about hard parts like the heads, cams, pistons, crankshaft, etc.? Worth the extra time and space to disassemble and store, or just keep it as a lump somewhere, or get rid of it all?
