Message	That is what I figured, but I thought I would ask. The manual ECU board I have does have circuit traces going to the pins that control the auto trans controller, that is why I asked. It is possible that the socketed board I have may have originated as an auto ECU. Is there a list of ECU numbers printed on the boards to confirm which ECU someone has? I suppose I should ask the next question.... I have a ‘90 TT California car, can I use a Federal ECU with my current wiring harness? (Acknowledging that some emission devices would not function). As always, thanks for the support from the community
