Subject	Cracked housing on N62 MAF - POSSIBLE FIX?

Message	I bought a junk car with a working MAF but where the filter connects to has been snapped off, apart from that it's all good and functions fine. I was hoping I could swap it into a casing of a cheap eBay MAF but looks more difficult than I thought and I may possibly ruin it. anyone have experience taking a maf apart ?
