1990 NA 115K- OK, have the tranny out for a clutch, rear main seal, new exhaust. after getting everything cleaned up before reassembly, I noticed a drip from the front crank seal. its probably the oil pan gasket, cause the seal was replaced a few years back with the timing belt. So that's a drop-the-oil-pan project, which means dropping the subframe/steering. question is do I need to completely remove the subframes and steering, or can you just lower it? Id rather not undo all the steering and suspension, and unhook the power steering if if it can be avoided- it also means another trip to harbor freight for the engine support bar- worth it or not?
