Message	My fault for believing what i read on the internet. However, I did check to compare them and the rod and the tap both mesh together. Where I really mucked up is using an electric wrench to put the bolt in, in the first place. I had put the oil pickup on already and was accessing the bolt at an angle which caused the cross-threading. Definitely a rookie mistake that I wont do again. Screwing them in by hand next time! I've got the rod ordered, now I just have to work out how to balance the new one.. The cap on it had material removed to balance it and for some reason the chap on the live chat at eagle seems to think I can't swap the caps over? Time to learn.
