fail to work properly in the car and pass a store bench test. The store test doesn't replicate the real engine load to resist rotation and how the starter mechanical parts are loaded. Good move going to a reputable rebuilder for their test. If the rebuild shop says your starter is bad they may have one on their shelf for exchange or rebuild yours with no exchange (preferred way), either way you will pay rebuilder and have paid Orielly if you go ahead with rebuilder ;-( Might try to convince Orielly to let you try another starter based on the rebuild shop opinion on the Orielly starter? Or maybe Orielly has a new starter for exchange and you pay the difference? I know possible double work! Your decision.
