Trying to help a friend out here. He recently purchased a 1992 TT that appears to have vibration at roughly 1400 and then again at 2800 rpm. Clutch in or out it does it, neutral as well as driving but seems worse when under load. I searched and the general consensus is motor mount and or transmission mount with similar vibrations, any further opinions? He lives a few hours away so I am trying to give him any info I can over the phone and any insight would be appreciated.
