How long ago did you do the conversion? My fear about doing the conversion has always been that there would still be some of the oil from the R12 I couldn't get out and the oil from the R134 would mix with it and then break something more. My original thought when I first started working on mine was to try to get certified and buy some old R12 to avoid that. But now that I have done some diagnosing and have some question marks I'm kind of re thinking that plan. Given where I am with mine now I'm thinking of replacing the tensioner pull and belt, and dryer, then pulling a vacuum for several hours (does anyone know what negative PSI is sufficient), draining the compressor and refilling with a R134 compliant oil, then putting in R134 to try to further diagnose what else is wrong.
