Message	issues. I think the issue is actually the rubber bushing on the shaft. I'm confident I'm sealing up the cap perfectly, but water will leak through the rubber impeller bushing then easily spill out the holes in the top/back of the impeller housing and then out down the sides of the pump. The ACDELCO 86727 looks to be the winner as it seems to have an updated fully sealed design. It would also be great if we could just purchase a new impeller housing brand new and just pop it on, going to look around for this but likely going to purchase the ACDelco 86727 part.
