Message Before putting the rods on the cranhakft, did you have the OEM clearance on it? The crankshaft should of spun freely. No catch.
I imagine then your piston rings are also with in clearance of your application. What were your piston ring gap clearances, rod clearances, crankshaft endplay and journal and mian clearances? If they all fell within spec you should have no problem. I would say 100+ plus is tight.
When indoubt check your clearances again. better to be safe than sorry.
