I Had a marine engine / balancing shop build the engine for me. the guy has been doing it 40 years and really knows his stuff. Lots of other work was done to block to clean all the oilways and replace the check valves / bore out the water passage's and so on. He showed me how to measure everything and went through it all with me so I knew how to do it myself in future so I know they were good. The clearances were spot on with what the FSM recommends. it was .25 oversize bearings.
