Subject	Shifter bushings

Message	I installed brass shifter bushings and put everything back together and it shifts fine but feels like the shifter is farther forward then I remember. When I shift into 1st,3rd or 5th it’s almost touching the trim on the dash. Am I just imagining something or can you install it backwards? Thanks
