Message	I installed AMS manifolds onto my block, and also ran into your problem. I went through AMS the website to purchase the stud and nut kit. Before I bought the kit I tried cutting the two short studs, but the problem for me was I couldn't find a nut short enough to fit into groove of the manifold on the end. Also the nuts are flat on bottom for clamping force I believe.
