Message If so, yes. It doesn't take very much to plug the head supply jets and starve the heads for oil. That is super expensive to repair as it kills the heads/lifters/cams.
It isn't difficult to remove the jets. Drill them and tap threads for a screw, then pull them with a small slide hammer. The check valves are a bit of a pain as they have a check ball and are two piece. drill/tap/pull the upper part, stick a magnet to your pick and fish the ball out, then drill/tap/pull the lower housing.
If you are getting machine work done, just ask the machine shop to deal with the gallery plugs/cv's and jets.
