failure, aka code 34. ECU would read 55, drive around a bit, normal stock boost, then safety boost. Park and read codes, 55, check code history code 34. I'd recommend pulling codes multiple times during a drive (or actively watching) to see if it pops up. If it does pop, you can run the knock sensor relocation kit until you can find the time/opportunity to swap out at the factory location.
