Message	half inch. Ultimately, it's personal preference. I bought a set of rears to put on the front of mine, and he had 245/50 on them. Not a huge deal, but personally, I'll be going with the 245/45 R888Rs once I get the wheels cleaned up. They're not cheap, but also not horribly expensive... especially compared to others available in that size.
