Thanks for the answers guys. I had an OEM oil cooler when I spun a bearing. I am removing that one and installing the upgraded oil cooler with the new motor.
It seems my full flow oil cooler upgrade came with a block off plate for the oil tree OEM feed and a cap for the stock oil return line. So I guess ill just cap both the OEM feed/return and do my 100/500/1k break in oil changes and then install oil cooler.
