Message	DVDBURN is referring to the electronic module under the passenger footboard. He is correct that the HICAS module is also the power steering control in a TT (not on a NA model). If I read your post correctly, you have removed the HICAS hydraulic ram in the back and replaced the ram with an elimination bar then plugged the hydraulic lines. Did you install a bypass line at the solenoids in the front engine compartment? If you didn’t bypass the lines, the second stage of the PS pump could become hydraulically locked..
