Yes previous owner said it shifted fine, but he could never get the clutch engagement adjusted right so he burned through a clutch pretty quick. It does shift fine standing still, but yeah I never consider that a good indication of what it will do in real life. But it's certainly better than the one in my Z which grinds in 3 out of 5 gears and you can't get into first at all about half the time.
There were actually three clips that were loose. Those two in the pics were on the magnet, and the third one was in the fluid pan and I found it later.
Any links to a good set of pics or a diy on how to get these replaced? Hopefully it's easier then doing a full rebuild. Might go to the scrapper if it needs that.
