Found the issue. It turned out that the cable from starter solenoid to the starter motor had broke at the terminal. I could not see this until I pulled the starter. I re-ended the cable with a beefier connection, reinstalled, and the car started right up. I am happy to have the car fixed, but upset to see how flimsy a terminal connector was used on this remanufactured starter. That is not even a wire you mess with as that portion of the wiring is pre-assembled. It was a good learning lesson. Now onto replacing the alternator harness.
