Message	on a standard board you should measure a short (zero resistance, full continuity) between all different color sets, so zero resistance between red & red, zero resistance between blue & blue and zero resistance between yellow & yellow. If you do not measure a short between one or more of the passthrough joints/points then solder a wire in place. (or just do all, just to be safe) the wires do not bypass the resistors, they basically bypass/replace the traces on the display side of the board that have lost connection with the component side of the board.
