Message	builder hasn't stepped up and taken some responsibility. In regards to why the engine has become more detonation prone, it's most probably due to the increase in oil being introduced into the combustion chambers. Oil degrades a fuels effective octane, and the engine becomes more detonation sensitive as the octane drops because of the presence of more oil.
