I tend not to believe that when dealing with oil, or at least it depends where the hoses came from. I bought some Vibrant silicone hoses the other day for my 335i oil catch can as well as for the relocated coolant expansion tank. Insane quality, kinda overkill for my application but it's shiny and reliable so I bought it. ~$30 for 5 feet of .75 ID hose
