Message side of the evap called the TCA or Thermo Control Amplifier. It if fails and gets out of "calibration" (its temp vs resistance becomes skewed) or the evap is occluded with lint, leaves and bugs, the system will cycle. If the calibration fails the comp will get incorrect info. If the evap flows poorly (and pay attention to this one), the TCA WILL NOT be warmed by the heat of the cabin air. The TCA then "tells" the ECU to shut the comp down; as it "thinks" the evap is too cold.

Have you cleaned the evap? There is NO CABIN FILTER in the Z32.
