96NA replaced compressor and receiver/drier with an OE assy. Vacuumed before charging. Pressures are good, refrigerant charge amount good, cold air from the vents. AC auto diag no faults, watching through Conzult nothing looks outta place, I can see the signal turning the compressor on and off. The OE receiver/drier comes with a new pressure switch. Only issue is the compressor will cycle on and off, depending on the ambient temps and the cabin temp it may run longer or shorter before cycling so im not suspecting a faulty relay or a circuit problem...im thinking its a sensor. My 94TT AC compressor does not cycle, and it says right in the manual its not supposed to. There's that little sensor on the evaporator coil that supposed to cut the compressor if it gets near freezing, however it wont cycle on long enough for a freeze over... Anyone have this problem before?
