Message compressor. While several things can cause cycling (which this Nissan DOES NOT DO as a means of controlling high side pressure), poor cooling is often the result of a clogged evaporator. The Z32 has no cabin filter and fibers, bugs, leaves and a few other items make their way into the evaporator box. Oil weeps over time, from the plumbing connections of the expansion valve, that sits in front of the blow face of the evaporator; aid in gluing debris to the evaporator reducing flow through its cold fins.

In GA where humidity is frequently high (45 to 60), I can get a good a/c to discharge at 38F from the center grill at 90F ambient.
